2017-2018 Green Team

  

           Starting Wednesday, Sept 10th the Green Team will be looking for your recycle boxes every Wednesday after school.  Architecture instructor  Elizabeth Castro and Science teacher Julie Rasmuson are honored to introduce their new team. “Our expectations are to double the club size and continue to recycle as much possible,” Mrs. Castro said.

           The Green Team members asks that the recycling boxes are ready for a quick and easy access.  Please be aware that the team will be picking up all boxes from 4:30 to 6:00 every Wednesday.  According to Mrs. Castro, the team takes an hour to collect all recycling material on campus. With the teacher’s participation and help, the time could be reduced.

             The group is divided into collection teams by captains. The captains take twelve other members with them for a faster process. “There’s no need to separate your papers, but keep in mind, books are not permitted,” Ms. Castro said.  Mrs. Castro would like for teachers to write the name and room number of each class on the recycle container for better security.

             The green plastic, recycle containers are no longer available, but teachers may use the white boxes located outside B27.
