Ready, Set, Teach Students
Ready, Set, Teach is a program where students go and intern at Frank Guzick, Edna Rowe, Urban Park and other elementary school near Skyline High School. The Ready, Set, Teach interns help students with basic instructional assignments. The students in this program are eager to learn and ready to pursue their dream career as a teacher. The mentor teachers allow the students to experience hands on tasks that certified teachers model. Mrs. Johnson-Burns' students have the opportunity to learn and grow from some of Dallas ISD's best teachers. The students enjoy the process of preparing to become a teacher and also how it feels to grow the kids minds and make a positive change in their lives. Mrs. Johnson-Burns is the Ready, Set, Teach instructor. Her classroom is B53.

Do you prefer Elementary or High School students?
Emily- "Elementary because they are barely getting to figure things out.
Maribel-"I prefer elementary because they hear and understand you"
Jennifer- "High School because they are more mature"
Dulce-"Elementary because they are easier to teach"
Brillit-"Elementary because you get to teach them and influence them"
